Tell us about how your experiences at Cornell influenced your path. How did you come to live in Los Angeles and what you are doing now?
I was born and raised in Los Angeles, I was at Cornell Law School from 1988 to 1991 but always planned on coming back to Southern California.
How did Cornell help prepare you for your life?
A first rate education and training, opened many doors, made life-long friends at Cornell.
Tell us a favorite memory of your time at Cornell.
Meeting so many wonderful people, hiking the gorges in nice weather, sledding on cafeteria trays in the winter, and too many more to mention!
Tell us a favorite memory shared with another Cornell alumni in LA.
Touring around L.A. with Cornell classmates who came out for a visit one winter, and seeing Tom Cruise! They got a kick out of that, very "L.A."
What advice would you give to Cornell grads looking to come to LA personally and professionally related to your line of work?
I think the legal profession/business has changed quite a bit in the last 15-20 years. For new law school grads, these changes have certainly been for the negative. But while it still seems generally difficult for new law grads, L.A. is as vibrant as any job market in the country. Networking and getting your name/resume out there is probably more important than ever.
