SOLD OUT - A Great Night Out at the Magic Castle

Sign Up Now as Space Is Limited!
Event Date: Saturday, February 20th, 2010 at 8:00pm

Join us for dinner and shows at the Magic Castle looming over Hollywood, the world's most famous nightclub for magicians and their guests and home to The Academy of Magical Arts, Inc. For more than 40 years, this exclusive private club in the Hollywood Hills has operated from a large, elegant Victorian-style mansion full of mystery and thrills.

Jeffrey Cowan '86, CCLA Board Member At Large, is our member connection. He is a former professional magician turned trial lawyer who used to headline at the Castle while "performing" his way through law school. Jeffrey will serve as the group's host and guide for the evening with the goal of ensuring that we have the opportunity to see as much as possible - including some of the club's hidden secrets. To top off the evening, Jeffrey's may even slip in a surprise performance using his adept sleight of hand skills for an upclose and personal magical view... if the spirits allow.

Lastly, we will "magically" grow our Scholarship endowment with a little help from attendees, with a potion, I mean portion of the event fee going directly to the CCLA scholarship endowment.

LATE BREAKING NEWS:

Jeffrey reports that “there is a superb line-up of magicians at the Castle for our event, including two guys who are past national sleight of hand champions who also happen to be buddies of mine.  Try to arrive early and stay late in order to see all the good acts.
