CCLA May Hike - Zuma Ridge Trail

Time: 8:45 a.m. - Meet Up, 9:00 a.m. - Hike starts

Location:  Zuma Ridge Trailhead, Malibu (Ridge-Canyon Access Trail, Malibu, CA 90265)

Parking: Small parking lot at the trailhead and plenty of street parking.

We arranged this month’s hike on a Sunday so everyone can enjoy Cinco de Mayo & use Saturday to recover! 

This wide trail is never very crowded and perfect for a group!

This an out & back trail is 5.6 miles and considered moderate with about 1,400 ft elevation gain. Note that it is fairly steep uphill on the way out & unshaded, so we suggest that you pack water & sunscreen. The ocean views spanning the south bay to Oxnard are well worth it though! Thanks to the rain, it is lively and green with many flowers. Please do not bring any dogs, since there have been some snake sightings.
