CCLA Author Event: The Orchid

Date: Friday, September 20, 2024
Time: 6:30 - 8:30 pm

Location: MUD/WTR, 2515 Main Street, Santa Monica

Join us for an insightful evening with authors Rocio Aquino and Angel Orengo, discussing their book The Orchid: The Secret Code of Modern Goddesses. It is a transformative novel that intertwines the journeys of five women as they navigate personal growth, healing, and self-discovery. Set in the backdrop of a therapeutic retreat, the story explores themes of awareness, gratitude, forgiveness, acceptance, intention, and self-love. Through its compelling narrative, The Orchid empowers readers to reflect on their own lives, encouraging mindfulness and the pursuit of inner peace.

Our authors will chat with moderator Gaye Tomlinson about the journey that they went through when creating the book and answer audience questions. The talk will be followed by book signing and socializing. There will be snacks and sweet bites. Coffee-less drinks and smoothies are available for purchase. If you would like to read the book before the event to enrich your experience, please use this link.
