CCLA October Hike – Griffith / Tom LaBonge Panorama
Date: Sunday, October 15, 2023
Time: Meeting at 9:15 am, hike starts promptly at 9:30 am
Location: Griffith Park (exact meeting location will be emailed to the attendees before the hike)
Our next hike will be to Mount Hollywood Summit / Tom LaBonge Panorama via West Trail. It's ~4 miles long and considered moderate with about ~1,700 ft elevation gain, offering great views of LA throughout the way. Our hike will follow this trail below then head up to the Tom LaBonge Panorama lookout point:
There are parking spots on Fern Dell Dr as well as a parking lot (this lot can get crowded) here: https://maps.app.goo.gl/6oerU6h1kdk6HekK9
Feel free to bring water, sunscreen, hats and whatever else you need to make this an enjoyable experience.
