WEEK-LONG WINE PROGRAM AT CORNELL THIS SUMMER
Cornell University invites you to spend a week in the beautiful Finger Lakes region this summer exploring the science of grape growing and wine making. Led by respected Cornell faculty members and leading wine professionals, the Cornell University Viticulture and Enology Experience (CUVEE), set for July 20–25, will help you increase your wine appreciation and knowledge. With area wineries as your classroom, you’ll: § learn about the key agricultural components of growing grapes,
§ study the scientific principles behind viticulture and enology, § gain hands-on practice working vines and making wine, § analyze the business aspects of investing in a winery, § enjoy field trips to vibrant Finger Lakes vineyards, § savor and evaluate wines during specially designed tastings, and § obtain an insider's view of the grape-growing and wine-making business. If you’re a wine enthusiast; are considering purchasing, investing in, or opening a winery; or are interested in growing grapes and making wine for pleasure, CUVEE is for you! Enrollment is limited, so you are encouraged to register as soon as possible. To reserve your place or for more information, call 607.255.7259, e-mail cusp@cornell.edu, or visit http://www.sce.cornell.edu/cuvee. We hope to see you back on campus this summer!
