Cornell Public Debate: Are charter schools the answer to California's education problems?

Join us as Cornell students face off in a debate on whether or not charter schools are the answer to California's education problems. Charter Schools and their place in providing education to children and young adults in the California education system is a controversial hot button issue permeating state politics from local school boards to the governor's race.

Four undergraduate students will take on the complexities of this issue as part of Cornell Speech & Debate’s series of public debates which demonstrates the program’s commitment to civil discourse.
