A whole bunch of new short plays, by local playwrights, funded in part by the City of Los Angeles' Department of Cultural Affairs, will be at the Lounge Theatre, 6201 Santa Monica Boulevard, Hollywood (1 block east of Vine, at El Centro) from May 16 - May 19.  Curtain at 8 PM on Thursday, Friday and Saturday; at 7 PM on Sunday, May 19.  All the plays deal with social issues of concern to Angelenos - homelessness, discrimination, LGBQT issues, income inequality, etc.  And they're not all downers - some are downright hilarious!
