Beyond Exhaustion: Replacing Overwhelm with Abundant Personal Energy

Date: Saturday, July 25, 2026
Start Time: 11:00am Networking, 11:30am - 1:00pm Discussion & Seminar
Location: Blankspaces, 606 Venice Boulevard, Los Angeles, CA 90291
Frequent exhaustion and overwhelm have become the norm rather than the exception, regardless of our age, profession, or stage of life. Many of us are working harder than ever, yet feeling less energized, less fulfilled, and increasingly stretched thin. The consequences extend far beyond feeling tired—they affect our focus, productivity, work performance, creativity, physical health, relationships, and overall happiness.
But what if the solution isn’t simply getting more sleep, drinking more caffeine, or pushing through? What if the greatest opportunity lies in intentionally increasing and optimizing your personal energy?
Join fellow Cornellians for an engaging presentation led by Gaye Tomlinson (MBA ‘05) featuring guided self-assessments and practical exercises designed to help you better understand and optimize your personal energy. Understand where your energy is being invested, identify common energy drains, and redirect that energy toward the people, activities, and habits that generate the greatest return. Along the way, she’ll share actionable strategies, real-world examples, and practical insights that attendees can begin applying immediately.
You’ll leave with a fresh perspective on how to better protect and manage your energy, build greater resilience, improve performance and well-being, and create more capacity for the things that matter most. Because the goal isn’t simply to get through the day. The goal is to build a life fueled by abundant energy.
